MailUp is launching Jade, the app to collect contacts on your iPad using the digital registration forms

Designed for trade fairs, events and commercial use, Jade is the iPad app that digitizes the whole process of collecting contacts, from the creation of the registration form to the importing of data onto the MailUp platform.

Milan, 15 October 2015. MailUp S.p.A. (MAIL.MI) (ISIN IT0005040354) announces the launch of Jade (http://www.mailup.com/jade/), the iPad app that lets you create a digital registration form in just a few steps to collect contacts even while offline. The data is saved on the iPad and, once the user connects to the Internet, is automatically sent to their MailUp account.

Designed for all kinds of events and commercial uses – trade fairs, conferences and shows – Jade is the app that lets you digitize the whole contact collection process: from the creation of a registration form to the importing of data onto the mailing platform, which are fundamental, preliminary operations for any email marketing initiative.

Jade enables various degrees of personalization of the registration form: the user can add the company logo, change the background, edit the text and fields. It is also possible to create other forms and attach each one to a different MailUp list, for better segmentation of the recipients.

Available for iOS 8.0+ and free to download from the App Store (https://itunes.apple.com/it/app/mailup-jade/id1030398041), Jade can be used if you have a MailUp account, and can be activated on a free trial basis for 30 days on www.mailup.com.

Massimo Arrigoni, Chief Product Officer for MailUp, states: “Stores, trade fairs and events are potentially big opportunities for collecting new contacts and building up your email database. Sometimes there’s no Internet connection or it isn’t very good: Jade solves that problem because it doesn’t need a connection during the data collection phase. What’s more, it is designed for self-service use (new contacts register by themselves, using a very simple interface) and to allow the company to offer an incentive for registering (e.g. a special offer that is automatically sent via email or SMS to the person who’s just registered)”.

Nazzareno Gorni, CEO of MailUp, says: “Jade, like the Facebook App released in the spring, is a product that extends the MailUp platform with a feature that’s frequently requested. Increasing the contacts list often leads to a greater than proportional increase in business, thanks also to the marketing automation functions – both email and SMS – already included in MailUp.  I expect this to translate into an increase in mailings and therefore revenue for the Customer”.
