How We Hire
Interested in applying for a job at Growens or its business units? Here you can find more details about the way we hire, and some answers to frequently asked questions for every step of the process.
Apply
You can apply for open positions through the job boards where these have been posted, via LinkedIn, or simply on the “Open Positions” page of our website. Sending your application is very simple: just fill out the application form, attach your resume, provide some personal information, and state your desired salary.
It’s important that you do the necessary research during the application phase to share your interest in joining Growens or one of our business units. An excellent opportunity to showcase your motivation is to attach a brief cover letter to the application form, which will serve as an initial point of contact with our People & Culture Team. Additionally, we recommend carefully reading the job description: if you believe you have the right.
Yes, you may apply in English or in Italian. We are an international company so we recommend your application is submitted in English. Your knowledge of English will be tested during the recruitment process.
Yes, we have an internal referral program that allows our employees to refer candidates for the roles we are seeking. In compliance with current privacy regulations, make sure to contact the internal person at Growens whom you know before submitting your application, expressly authorizing them to share your personal data, such as your CV, with the People & Culture team. Your contact will be informed of the outcome of the referral.
Your application will be reviewed by a member of the People & Culture team. If we believe there’s a match, we’ll reach out to you as soon as possible. If you don’t hear back from us within 40 days, please consider we’ve moved on with other candidates. We understand that constructive criticism is really important, but because of the numerous applications, we can only offer personalized feedback to candidates who enter the recruitment process.
Interview
If your application is in line with the position requirements, you’ll be contacted by someone from the People & Culture team to set up an interview. This will be the chance to learn more about the role you’ve applied for and what it’s like to work at Growens or in one of our business units. We’ll discuss your professional background and motivation and we’ll evaluate your job-fit and cultural-fit through a behavioral assessment.
If we both think there’s a match, you’ll be invited to come back for a second interview with the hiring manager. The final round usually involves team members and, for some positions, a technical test. For managerial roles, additional rounds of interviews might be necessary.
We’ll let you know who you are meeting at every stage; the People & Culture team will be your point of contact and guidance throughout the whole process.
Yes, our interviews are generally carried out remotely via Google Meet.
Make sure you know the job description very well and do your research about our organization and products. Ask all non-technical questions to our People & Culture staff who will be more than happy to answer to you. Be ready to explain why you can be a good fit for the role and how your experience aligns with it, show us that you embrace our values with tangible examples.
