Growens once again among the companies most attentive to the climate
We are proud to announce that Growens has been included for the second consecutive year in the “The Companies Most Attentive to the Climate 2025” ranking published by Corriere della Sera – Pianeta 2030 in collaboration with Statista. This recognition confirms our Group’s daily commitment to reduce the environmental impact of its activities and promote sustainable practices.
An important recognition for a long-term strategy
Being listed in this prestigious ranking is a significant acknowledgment of Growens’ strategic vision—based on innovation and environmental responsibility. The ranking analyzes a variety of sustainability factors, from internal policies on emission reduction to energy efficiency initiatives and responsible resource use, all the way to collective awareness on climate and environmental issues.
Methodology
The study involved over 600 companies based and operating in Italy, and among the country’s largest by revenue or listed on the Italian Stock Exchange. The methodology evaluated carbon dioxide consumption (divided into Scope 1 and Scope 2) in relation to revenue:
- Scope 1 refers to direct CO₂ emissions, which include greenhouse gas emissions from sources owned or controlled by the company—such as the use of fuel for heating and vehicle fleets, as well as refrigerant gases.
- Scope 2 refers to indirect CO₂ emissions, which include greenhouse gases resulting from the generation of purchased electricity, heating, cooling, and steam consumed by the company.

The heart of our commitment
Sustainability is a fundamental pillar for Growens. Our approach takes shape through several concrete actions, including:
- Reducing energy consumption: We continually optimize our processes and IT infrastructure to minimize energy use and encourage renewable sources.
- Offsetting emissions: We neutralize CO₂ emissions from our offices and websites by planting trees. Moreover, thanks to the One Tree One Customer program, we plant a tree for each new customer.
- Responsible resource management: We promote the conscious use of materials and tools, adopting solutions aimed at reducing waste.
- Internal and external awareness: We invest in engaging employees, stakeholders, and the local community, ensuring that everyone can contribute to creating a positive impact on the planet.
